Freedom

Little bro playing around, says water is too warm for him to swim, yeah right. It was perfect if I may say. Let it wash away all the tension, & worries. Give me Freedom !!

Out & About: Radisson Blu

During our vacation at the North Coast, which is a 1 & half hr drive out of Alex, Dad had a meeting at a hotel on the way, called " Radisson Blu". Knowing that I liked to see everything new , he took me with him :)

First impression: it resembeled a stadium !! With it's circular like structure, and the fact that it's situated in the middle of no where surrounded my mounts of sands .

The circular building turned out to be hollow from the inside, with a court yard-like space, and the rooms are all these cells in the structure, with blue glass on the balconies.

I enjoyed the lovely latin music that was beeing played by the pool area, while seated on the chaise lounge with a nice strawberry juice emm, it's my favourite drink !!
This is the golf course, & beyond it is the high way, then a lake which I really don't know anything about it, and far beyond are factories.

so, when I went home and looked it up online, I found that its original branch is in the US, and that it's a world wide chain of 435 hotels in 61 countries !!
Radissonblu.com is the site if you wanna check it out in any country.

Heap of blocks

Today, while I was having my morning walk
on the usual pathway, I met this!!

Giant heap of blocks.

They usually use these to block the violent waves, like the ones embedded between sand and stones, below in the pictures.

But this pile, it made me think of those colourefull kids' blocks where they compete on building the highest tower of blocks:D
Except that these are ugly grey, also they have red numberings on some of them, for some unknown reason.

hmm I wonder what will they do with them?

Maybe they're trying to build a pyramid in Alex too..haha..

French : Les Filles De Mon Pays

This week's song is from France, by the French singer and musician Enrico Macias -which is his stage name- his real name is Gaston Ghrenassia.
Les filles de mon pays or (Girls of my country), is a song with a bit of a dance beat to it and it has a very happy uplifting mood. :D Enjoy

Instrumental : Nightingale

This is an instumental track by the Greek pianist and composer , Yanni called Nightingale. Simply beautiful.
You can meditate on it, listen to it while writing -which I usually do- or simply sit back and relax...

CD curtain

Had a couple -or more- CDs that I no longer use, so I made up this curtain. It's really neat specially when the sun rays reflect rainbow colours on the walls. Also could use it as a mirror.
I also have a couple in which I stuck a candle at the middle and they serve as candle plate, those too have great reflection colours at night.

5 Things I like about Final Exam's Period

On a happier note :p

1- I get a break from the daily routine of going to college and attending lectures ;)

2- Not going out much, specially daytime, restores my skin's colour so I can ruin it all over in the summer vacation :)

3- No one is asking me to do them favours :D, it's not that I don't like it, really I like helping people, but it's nice to take a break everyonce in a while.

4- I get creative!! seriously, exams bring out the creativity within me , since I try to avoid studying I do other things, I once made a short movie, I also make song parodies plus my favourite of all time, drawing ;) .

5- I get to learn new things while studying, I love learning , I won't deny it :)

5 Things I Hate about Final Exam's Period

1- I don't get to meet my friends :(

2- I get trapped in my room for days and weeks, since I'm not the type of person who studies at the library or with friends... isolation is all that I need to get things done.

3- I ruin my daily exercise routine... even though I try my best not to, since it's the only way I can release my energy, but sometimes I just don't have time.

4- I can't watch a movie without feeling guilty that I shouldn't, it keeps nagging all the way, that I leave the movie halfway :(

5- Cramming --------> Stress---------->simply hate them.

Popcorn !!

Had a very bad exam, so I went and made myself a huge bowl of popcorn –which I don’t really like, -but I read somewhere that it’s really healthy and lifts up your mood ….and it worked
Plus I made it in this humongous container – I think they use it for dough making- & I loved the feeling of my entire hand diving in the bowl while I held it snuggly by my other arm… I’m drifting here..

By the WIndow

A relaxed mood. I love the simplicity of the design, I love viewing things in their most simplest forms, people have to complicate everything and analyse tiniest details –not talking about drawings here J-

You call us old generation ! based on what ?

I'm sitting right now at the library's computer.
In came 2 old fellows, -like really old, white hair, beard and bended back-
So the first is looking at the pc next to me and presses the monitor on/off button several times " This thing is not working" he says, a boy tells him, "move the mouse", then the screen comes to life & he goes , "ohhhh", then he sits, he's old buddy was about to sit on his left but he goes "no no, sit on my right , I want to teach you from the very begining how to open it step by step, you're gonna do every thing by your self"
Right now he's guiding him through some steps , don't know what he's trying to do yet...
Wow, age really is nothing in this life , just a mere number ,isn't it !!

Insy Wincy Spiders

I love spiders. I really do, they're such amazing creatures. I did mention them in a previous post " Spider's web".
This is a drawing that I made , the best thing I like about it is that it had no upside, downside, right or left directions, I can rotate the image in any way and they still look normal. :D

Wavin' Flag "Haiti's version"

This song has an amazing tune, ever since I first heard it, it stuck to my mind, and I always find my self chanting " When I get older I will be stronger", I personally love this more than the original version by K'naan "Canadian singer".. Also the 2010 World Cup version has a bit happier beat in it -& different lyrics-...
Enjoy:D
